Ministry in Fang, Thailand with Kid's Life Ministry. (Ruthie, Pastor Jay, and Pim before Sunday services June '09)

ONE STEP INTERNATIONAL exists to:

• transform cultures with the knowledge of Christ
• network resources and skills
• mobilize Christ-centered believers
• provide training and assistance to unreached tribal peoples in restricted areas of the world

The summer 2009 missions outreach began in June with a return ministry visit to Kid's Life Ministry in Thailand. I was joined by Rachel and Ellen for three weeks in North Thailand, with two busy weeks working with children at KLM and in the surrounding schools and hilltribe villages.

My second ministry stop was a return trip to Hungary to work in an English camp in the southern village of Kubekhaza. God put together a wonderful international 'dream team' of workers from Ghana, Serbia, Romania, Sweden, America and local Hungarian students and ministry workers for two weeks of study in English and in the Bible teachings found in Jonah.

My third stop (after four days of rest and regrouping in the Cinque Terre, Italy) was a new ministry site in Casares, Nicaragua where I was able to connect with local orphanages and special needs schools through a friend and coworker with family ties in this town near the western coast.

In each setting many new experiences were gained, fond memories were made, and precious relationships were formed. All of these are treasures from God, as it is such a joy to trust and serve Him daily.

As we enter 2010, I anxiously anticipate great doors of opportunity to learn and to develop new skills with which to continue serving in mission outreaches.
