Zoli was in one of my craft workshops. He and another friend, Flori, presented me with a Hungarian flag, which they had signed. I will use it as prayer tool to continue to lift them in prayer!

Our camp ministry in the village of Kubekhaza ended yesterday. We had a great group of campers from this village and Szged, as well as a dream team of teachers from Hungary, Serbia, Ghana, Romania and the U. S.

Our navy theme for the camp was effective to motivate our students to work hard, and was led by Admiral Gabor and Vice- Admiral Guszti. Each day the teachers would meet to discuss promotions for our hardworking seamen and seawomen! Our camp´s Bible focus was on the Jonah story, with a theme of forgiveness and compassion.

My interpreter and friend, Norbi, with the Blue Waves!

I loved the times of worship, led by Zoli, and the Bible study at the teachers meetings (the book of Judges) led by Gabor. The skits with Maris, Attis and  Guszti kept the campers laughing. Norbi K. contributed some creative resources to use with our English Lessons at both levels. I enjoyed the many tasks for which I was responsible, including introducing and teaching the English lessons, translating worship songs, holding various workshops each afternoon, and even collecting the bread from the local bakery each morning for the camp.
