Rajphongsi woman breaking rocks at Rananaga village near Siliguri.
Rajphongsi girl from Rananaga village- we passed out "chocolates" to the children here.
Mother and baby from Rananaga village.
I really enjoyed making the little ones laugh, ina village where there seemingly is little hope for the children.
Arun and I walked about passing out candies ("chocolates" the universal word for candy) to the parents and children.
Sharing some love in Rananaga. The shed/building where the church fellowship meets is in the background.
Curious faces of Rajphonsgsi children.
My new friend , Debbie, who daily works for hours breaking rocks in the riverbed .
Debbie in action...
Debbie taught me everything I know about breaking rocks!
In visiting with and befriending Debbie, I learned that she is originally from Calcutta, where she became a believer. As her sister, I asked to pray with her for any needs. She shared of her foot and ankle which were in much pain.
Inside the current church building. LTC is planning to begin a primary school here in April.
Monkeys hanging around various areas of West Bengal.
My evangelist friend and former interpreter, Hannock Das. He pastors in the area near Rananaga.
It was a gift from God to reunite with my dear friend, Hannock.
Plowing in Rananaga with buffalo...
This man drove the buffaloes close to me so I could take some pictures to share with my students.
He is holding onto the buffalo's tail!
This is my friend from Anshu Academy, and Hannock's wife. I was so happy to meet her, and to learn how their three daughters are doing.
It is such a blessing when God connects you with sisters in different nations.
This is Durga Lal Acharya, the teacher who came from Nepal to visit.
These are Adavasi children at LTC's tutoring program.
